Rev. Dr. Cathy Myers Wirt holds degrees from San Francisco School of Theology (Doctor of Ministry), Lewis and Clark Graduate School (MA in Counseling Psychology), Pacific School of Religion (Master of Divinity) and Macalester College (BA in Religious Studies). 

 

Ordained in Lafayette California in 1983, she has served as a pastor to congregations in California, Oregon and Arizona as well as worked on the staff of Disciples Home Missions and the regional churches of Oregon and Arizona. 

 

In addition she worked as a resident therapist at the Phoenix Interfaith Counseling. 

 

For nine years she edited New Day Magazine for the Christian Board of Publication.  

 

She has visited with our mission partners in Zimbabwe in 1993, Mexico in 2007, and Cuba in 2015.

Cathy is mother to two adults sons.  She enjoys writing, reading, knitting, learning to cook new cuisines, and gardening.
